DCC project workers continue sit-in

Three hundred employees of Slum Development Project of Dhaka City Corporation continued their indefinite sit-in programme along with their children for the second day yesterday on Nagar Bhaban premises demanding their arrear salaries of 15 months.
"We will continue our sit-in programme until our demand is realised," said Md Abu Yousuf, a senior caretaker of the project.
"Although we had decided to stage the sit-in programme during the office- hour only, but we are now continuing the programme without any break," he added.
