New drama serial “Ghotok Ebong Amra” on Ekushey TV

Ekushey Television will air the first episode of the new drama serial Ghotok Ebong Amra tonight at 9:30 pm. Written by Shubarno Saiful and directed by Debashish Barua, the play revolves around the day to day hilarious events in Ghotok (matchmaker) Moti Mian's life.
In his profession, Moti Mian gets into trouble quite often and adopts hilarious ways to make his way out.
On tonight's episode, Bokul, a local villager, approaches Moti Mian to arrange his marriage. After some time Moti Mian finds a young woman, Farzana, from an adjacent village. He sets up an appointment with Farzana's parents and goes to their home with Bokul. Everything goes smoothly until the refreshments arrive. After taking a sip, Bokul realises that the sharbat is made with chilli. With a mouth full of hot chilli, a desperate Bokul jumps into the pond to cool off, while Moti Mian runs off safely.
The cast includes Fazlur Rahman Babu, Tania Ahmed, Tisha, Mashum Aziz, Pran Roy and Swadhin Khasru. The play will be aired every Sunday at 9:30 pm.
