Robbery at lawyer's house

A robbery was committed in a house at Siddhirganj in Narayanganj on Thursday.
Locals said a gang of 9 to 10 robbers broke into the house of Advocate Mafizul Islam by cutting the window grill of his kitchen at around 1:30am.
The robbers held the residents of the house hostage at gunpoint and looted Tk 81000 in cash and gold ornaments weighing 1.5 tolas.
Mafizul was wounded when one of the robbers hit him in his head.
He filed a case with Siddhirganj Police Station in this connection.
