Army chief accords reception to decorated freedom fighters

Chief of Army Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan accorded a reception to gallantry award holder freedom fighters from Bangladesh Army and their next of kin on the occasion of Armed Forces Day at Officers' Club of Dhaka Cantonment yesterday.
The army chief recalled their role in the Liberation War and honoured as many as 21 gallantry award holder freedom fighters/successors with token of gifts, said an ISPR release.
Senior officers of Bangladesh Army were present on the occasion.
