Student knifed to death in Mymensingh

A college student was knifed to death allegedly by a gang of miscreants in Mymensingh Railway Station area on Monday night.
The deceased Mohammad Tapu, 16, was a student of Model Institute of Science and Technology in Gazipur and son of Ayub Ali of North Rajbari of the district town.
Locals caught Billal Hossain, 22, of the gang, with a dagger from the spot and handed him over to police.
Police said Billal stabbed Tapu around 11:00am while he was returning home from his maternal grandfather's house, killing him instantly.
