Criminal held with pistol

Police arrested a criminal along with a Pistol in Dighipar area under Benapole Police Station early yesterday. The arrestee is Liton Hossain, 24, son of Ismail Hossain of the village. Acting on a tip-off, law enforcers raided the area at around 3:00 am and arrested Liton from his house. They also recovered a pistol from his possession. A case was filed under Arms Act against Liton.
