Car driver murdered

Criminals stabbed a private car driver to death in Hamidpur area of Sadar upazila on Friday night. The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately. The deceased was identified as Jahangir Hossain, 37, son of Abdul Jalil of Shantola village. Police said on information, they recovered the body that bore several stab injury marks from the area and sent it to the hospital morgue for autopsy at around 10:00pm.
