A hattrick from Leon powered Boro Bill High School of Rangpur to a 3-1 win over Dhaka Residential Model High School in the National School Islami Bank Football Tournament at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur yesterday.
Leon struck in the 16th, 42nd and 50th minutes to complete his treble and was later adjudged man of the match. Mossadak netted the lone goal for Model School, who played with 10 men after Ridwan was sent off.
At the same venue, Baptist Mission Boys High School defeated Fasiha Ul-Ulum Darul Madrasa of Sherpur 3-1 with Shamrat, Topu and Raqib scoring one goal each for the winners. Dipto pulled one goal back for Darul Madrasa.
Chitagong Katirhat High School registered a 4-2 win over Lalmonirhut Government High School, courtesy of treble from Rashedul, who struck in the 10th, 18th and 66th minute while Ramjan netted other goals for Katirhat High School.
Shaheen and Arfan scored one goal apiece for Lalmonirhat Govt High School.
Habiganj Richi High School beat Gabtali Shaheed Zia High School 2-1 at the BNS. Faisal and Ripon scored for Habiganj while Shawdhin scored the lone goal for Zia High School.
