Desh TV launched its new website 'www.desh.tv' at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka on June 2. Viewers, across from the globe, can now watch both news and live streaming of programmes.
Finance minister AMA Muhith formally announced the launch of the website. He said, “The website is very different and Desh TV is marching ahead through technology.”
Managing director of Desh TV, Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, said, “Desh TV will now reach many more on the internet, worldwide. All Bengali speaking audiences can watch news and programmes thanks to live streaming.”
Apart from latest news, programmes and video clips, prime news bulletins will be placed on video archive. Members of audience forum of Desh TV, 'Desh Amar', can connect with each other online too. Viewers can put instant comments regarding any news and programmes.
Head of News of Desh TV, Aminur Rashid, also spoke at the programme. Chairman of Desh TV, Saber Hossain Chowdhury; director Tarik Sujat and others were present at the programme.
