Tk 1.92 worth TSP fertiliser seized

Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police recovered 120 sacks of Triple Super Phosphate (TSP) fertiliser from Charlakshya area in the port city yesterday.
DB police, during a regular check up, stopped a fertiliser-laden truck in the area around 3:00am and recovered the sacks from it.
The driver and helper of the truck, however, managed to flee from the spot.
Shah Alam, sub-inspector of Karnaphuli Police Station, said each sack contains 40 kgs of TSP fertiliser and the120 sacks seized contains, in total, fertiliser worth Tk 1.92.
A case was filed with Karnaphuli Police Station in this regard.
