The interim government is doing everything possible to ensure a bumper Boro production this year to cope with food problem.
Cabinet Secretary Ali Imam Majumder said this at a view exchange meeting with the deputy commissioners of six districts of Mymensingh region, officials of administration, Agriculture Extension Department, BADC, Power Development Board, banks, Palli Bidyut Samity and Irrigation Department at Mymensingh deputy commissioner's office yesterday.
Presided over by Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Ikram Ahmed, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture CQM Mustaq Ahmed, AED Director General Shamsul Alam, deputy commissioners of Mymensingh region and Commanding Officer of Mymensingh Joint Forces Lt Col Kabir Hossain.
