Verses for My Valentine
1.
Some stars fell...
Some comet must have lost its way
As you held my hand in yours...
Something...incomprehensible...
And obscure...
...But I'm sure,
Something was not just the same
As it was before!
Those timid strokes...
Soft and shivering...
Yet drawing lines changing my destiny...
I remember the temptation I fought to ignore...
...But something was not just the same
As it was before.
2.
As my words lie scattered on the empty page,
Like puzzle pieces I try to keep them aligned;
Just to realise,
You have become my poetry in disguise.
