Rabindranath Tagore's Chitrangada

Chitrangada is the eleventh production of Swapnadal, written by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and directed by Zahid Repon. The script of the play is an adaptation of a tale in the great eastern epic `Mahabharata', but with new and modern interpretations.

Master Craftsperson Award and Crafts Fair 2015

Recognising the value of the artisan and encouraging others to follow in their traditions, the National Crafts Council and Bengal Foundation have jointly organised the Master craftsperson Award and Crafts Fair. The Mastercraftspersons Award was introduced in 1989 by the National Crafts Council of Bangladesh with the objective of reviving traditional crafts, recognising the value of artisans and encouraging others to follow their traditions.
