A lifetime cruise for 1 million dollars

Storylines, a Delaware-registered company, is creating more than just an ocean residence. It is building a luxurious residential cruise ship with the plan of indefinitely sailing worldwide from 2025. That being said, if such a life is fancied by you, then you must be prepared to trade the comfortable multi room or storied house for a tiny studio condominium with a Murphy bed for a million dollars. Storylines' 18-deck MV Narrative, the start-up's first luxury residential cruise vessel, will travel all over the world indefinitely.
Passengers can avail a way of life that includes immersive cultural experiences on a global scale. The residents will travel to more than 100 countries, with an average of three to five days in each port, circumnavigating the globe at a leisurely pace. If that is not enough, Storylines will offer educational and entertainment experiences along with spa services that focus on local elements of respective ports. For the culinary connoisseurs, Storylines will arrange regional ingredients to create regional dishes inspired by each port of call.
The MV Narrative will carry 1,000 occupants with its 547 floating condominiums. The price of the residences in MV Narrative will range from a cool $1 million for a 237-square-foot studio home to an almost 1,970-square-foot deluxe four-bedroom, two-floor house with a price tag of $8 million. The 237-square-foot home will come with furniture such as storage units, a closet, and a TV, per the Storyline brochure.
With no space for a bathtub in bathrooms, the neutral washroom consists of modern furnishings that can easily rival a bathroom found in any multimillion-dollar condo. With all of that being said, the studio home's price does not include the monthly "living fees." For a dual-occupancy unit, the rate is approximately $2,600 per person.
The homeowners will have access to daily drinks and food at the 20 restaurants and bars the ship boasts. Guests will also have access to onboard medical staff, gorgeous pools, a marina with water toys, a bowling alley and a 10,000-square-foot large wellness facility that Storylines says is the biggest of its kind at sea.
During the vessel's journey worldwide, residents will get to spend several days at lovely international destinations such as Istanbul, Montenegro Kotor, and Palermo. It will not be a surprise if some say paying $1 million for such a tiny home is unreasonable, but for travellers who put their heart and soul to explore new experiences from different countries and the ability to circumnavigate the planet every three and a half years while cruising through the ocean is worth each penny.
