Won’t be an upset if Tigers beat Kiwis: Taylor

While there have been assertions that Bangladesh's win against any of the big cricketing nation is still being seen as an upset – by players and fans alike, New Zealand's Ross Taylor feels that it would not be a surprise if Bangladesh manage to secure victory against the Kiwis.

After the Tigers' 21-run win against South Africa in their opening fixture of the World Cup, it was largely labeled as an upset. Before Bangladesh's clash against New Zealand at The Oval on June 5, Taylor was not convinced by the idea.

"A lot has been made of it being a big upset," Taylor was quoted as saying by Newshub. "But I probably wouldn't call it that.

"I think Bangladesh, in their own right, are very good and must be one of the dark horses for this tournament," he said.
