Dengue: One dead, 101 hospitalised in a day

At least one dengue patient died and 101 others were hospitalised in the 24 hours until this morning.

With the new death, the total number of dengue deaths rose to 23 this year.

With 101 new dengue cases, the total number of cases rose to 3637.

A total of 3,296 dengue patients have been released so far while 318 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals across the country, 209 of which are from outside Dhaka, said a DGHS press release.
