Dengue cases cross 32,000, 750 hospitalised in 24hrs

With 750 dengue patients admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours till this morning (October 25, 2022), the total number of dengue crossed 32,000 mark.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), with the new cases total number of dengue rose to 32,716 of which 9,634 outside of Dhaka. The total number of deaths is 118
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Among the deaths 69 were in Dhaka, 22 in Cox's Bazar, 13 in Chattogram, five in Barishal, three each in Khulna and Mymensingh, one each in Narsingdi, Narail and Feni.
A total of 29,466 patients have already been released, of them 8,677 are from outside the capital.
Some 3,416 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 1,192 are from outside of Dhaka.
