Dengue: 1 dies, 33 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least one dengue patient died while 33 others were hospitalised in the 24 hours till this 8:00am today.

The total number of deaths this year has now risen to 13 while the total number of dengue patients rose to 1,447. Of the patients, 553 are from outside Dhaka, according to a press release of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 1,283 patients have already been released after treatment. Of them, 524 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 151 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 26 are from outside Dhaka.
