Covid-19 vaccination for school students from November 1

The government will begin vaccinating school students from November 1, Health Minister Zahid Maleque told reporters this afternoon.

He said the vaccination drive would take place at 12 centres in Dhaka, with students receiving Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine.

Every day, the government aims to vaccinate 40,000 students.

The minister said this after today's Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat.
