GD filed against Ajmeri Osman for issuing threat

A general diary was filed against late Narayanganj-5 MP Nasim Osman's son Ajmeri Osman and his three associates last night for issuing threat to an apparel factory owner and its officials.
Arup Kumar Saha, deputy managing director (administration, human resource and compliance) of garment factory Model the Capital and Industry, filed the GD with Fatullah Model Police Station.
According to the GD, the tenure of Md Shafiul Alam, headmaster of Bibi Mariyam Girls High School, is supposed to expire tomorrow (September 30) but the teacher was trying to remain in the post lobbying with some influential persons.
In response to the headmaster's lobbying, Ajmeri Osman along with his three associates -- Torikul Islam Limon, Anwarul Karim Titu and Sonet -- went to entrance of the Model the Capital and Industry, whose owner Masuduzzaman is the president of the managing committee of the school, and asked for Monir Hossain, managing director of the factory, stated the GD.
"The three associates beat up the security guards of the factory and started searching for Monir," said complaint, adding that the security guards were told that they have to face dire consequences if the headmaster is not reinstated.
The complainant Arup Saha told The Daily Star that he has no enmity with Ajmeri Osman but he has filed the GD for security as he is in the administrative post of the factory.
Confirming the GD, Aslam Hossain, officer-charge of Fatullah Police Station, said they will take legal steps after investigation.
Ajmeri Osman could not be contacted for his comment regarding the incident.
Despite repeated attempts, the Headmaster Shafiul Alam could not also be contacted over phone.
Meanwhile, locals brought out a procession against Ajmeri Osman and the headmaster protesting their move.
