You know my preferred destination: Hazard

Chelsea and Belgium star Eden Hazard has put his Chelsea future in doubt after he said that it might be a good time for him to make changes.

Hazard scored the second goal for Belgium in the third-place decider of the World Cup 2018 against England as Belgium defeated the Three Lions 2-0.

Hazard has been long speculated to make a move to Real Madrid and now that Real Madrid are in search of a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 27-year old Belgian could be a good buy for the Los Blancos side.

When asked about his future at Chelsea after the game against England, Hazard told reporters that they already know about his ‘preferred destination’, which could well be Real Madrid.

“After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different,” Hazard said.

“Certainly, after this World Cup, I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will have the final decision.

“You know my preferred destination.” Hazard added.

Hazard scored three goals and provided two assists for the Red Devils as he helped them secure third place in the tournament. Hazard was one of the most influential players in this World Cup and according to the attacking midfielder he would be happy to receive the Golden Ball of the tournament for his performances.

“Deserving it… well, it would be showing off to say I deserve it but yes, I do think I deserve it with my performances in the matches,” Hazard said about his chances of securing the Golden Ball.

“But there are other players in the World Cup, some who will play the final tomorrow, so it is not really important for me.

“If I get it I will be very happy and if I don’t get it I will be happy with the World Cup we have played.” Hazard concluded.
