Netrokona school teacher drowns in flood water

A school teacher has drowned in flood water, in Madan upazila of Netrokona.

Hafizur Rahman (55) was the head teacher of a non-government primary school.

He was rescued by locals and taken to Madan Upazila Health Complex but doctors declared him dead yesterday (June 21, 2022) evening, our Mymensingh correspondent reports.

Md Ferdaus Alam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Madan Police Station, confirmed the death and said that Hafizur drowned in the flood water while returning home.
