Nasir Uddin Khan returns in OTT thriller ‘Noya Note’

Actor Nasir Uddin Khan, who earned wide acclaim for his performance in "Myself Allen Swapon", is set to appear in a new web film titled "Noya Note". The film's first-look poster was unveiled on Tuesday (Septembr 2) evening, sparking curiosity among audiences.

The poster, shared by young director Ononno Protik Chowdhury, features Nasir Uddin Khan in a rugged look, holding a fresh 50-taka note. Alongside the image, Chowdhury wrote on Facebook: "In this world, everyone begs from someone — some for five taka, others for millions." He added that "Noya Note", his debut directorial venture, will be streaming soon on OTT platform iScreen.

 

iScreen also released the poster with the caption: "A new note in hand, a smile on the face. What mystery will Nasir Uddin Khan unfold?" The platform confirmed the release will be "soon," though an exact date has not been announced. Details about the rest of the cast also remain under wraps.

The film's story and screenplay are written by Chowdhury himself, who is the son of noted director Arun Chowdhury and filmmaker Chayanika Chowdhury. Both parents publicly congratulated their son on his first feature. Arun wrote, "He has already worked as an executive producer on films like "Mayaboti" and "Jole Jwole Tara". As a father and colleague, I wish him success in this new journey." Chayanika also shared the poster, adding: "Congratulations, Ononno. Love and best wishes. We will watch it together."

For viewers, Khan's transformation from his Allen Swapon persona into a mysterious character in "Noya Note" marks another step in his growing presence on the digital screen.
