National Award-winning actress Suborna Mustafa in her decade-long career has delivered numerous performances and shared screen spaces with veteran actors on-screen.

On television, Suborna Mustafa and Afzal Hossain's paring is still considered a fan favourite among the audiences.

On her birthday, Afzal Hossain talks about their life-long friendship, their rapport on-screen, and their love for theatre.

"Suborna and I got to know each other through 'Dhaka Theatre'. Suborna, Raisul Islam Asad, Humayun Faridi and I grew as an actor in the arena of theater. The four of us shared one of the greatest times of our life in the stage of 'Dhaka Theater'. I will forever cherish those memories," mentions Afzal Hossain.

Afzal Hossain also talked about fans' affection towards their pairing.

"I come from a semi-rural background while Suborna was born and raised in the city. I have done most of my work in television with Suborna and people have constantly showered us love and affection for our pairing on the small screen."

The noted actor talked about how they help each other grow as an artiste.

"Dialogues are an integral part of acting and here both of us help each other a great deal. She helps me out if I make a mistake and I do that vice versa. We also like to discuss our projects together to enhance our acting," mentions the actor.

"Outside of arts, we are two individual who shares the same ideology and perception. Together we grow as an actor through her love for performances," added the actor.

Afzal Hossain was full of praise for the "Gondi" actress.

"Now what can I say about her acting. Everybody knows how good of an actress she is. Suborna has done quite a great deal of brilliant performances during her adolescence period. Through her acting skills, she has created a space in everyone's heart," concludes the actor.
