It feels great to be back on the sets: Moushumi
Popular actress Moushumi has been keeping away from the silver screen since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. The actor is set to come back with the government-funded project "Bhangon".
Directed by Mirza Sakhawat Hossain, the film is based on the mental disparity residing in the mind of Dhaka dwellers. Moushumi will be seen in the role of a 'churi' seller in the production.
"The storyline of 'Bhangon' is very much relevant to the present life of the people of Dhaka city," shares the actor. "The script left a mark on my mind and I hope it has the same impact on our audience."
The shooting for "Bhangon" has already commenced. "Moushumi will be seen in the lead in the production," says the director. "We had our first shooting at a railway station yesterday."
Moushumi is looking forward to visiting Gazipur tomorrow to shoot for the next week for another film, "Shonar Chan". The film is to be directed by Zahid Hasan. The love story is based on the timeline of 1975 to 1981.
The artiste will play the character of Maymun. Her husband is noted actor Omar Sani will also be seen in an important role in the production. "After finishing shooting for the first lot in Gazipur, we will be visiting a 'chor' in Bhola," says director Zahid Hasan.
"It feels great to be back on the sets," shares the actress. Moushumi is currently looking forward to another project named "Deshantor". The government-funded project will be directed by Ashutosh Sujon.
