I don’t miss doing films anymore: Shabnaz

National Film Award winning actress Shabnaz is one of the most popular actresses from the 90s. She made her debut in acting with eminent filmmaker Ehtesham's film, "Chandni".

She has been featured in many hit films with renowned actor Nayeem, like "Zid", "Chokhe Chokhe", "Soniya", and "Takar Ohongkar". Shabnaz and Nayeem were popular pair among the audience. They got married in 1994.

Although Shabnaz has not been seen on the screens for a long time, her films are still etched in the audiences' memory. For newcomers, Shabnaz is a name that actresses look forward to.

29 October marked the birthday of the actress. She informed The Daily Star that she had spent the day with her family. Shabnaz's daughters have wished her from abroad.

"I am grateful to people who still remember me for my work, it feels great to stay connected with my films," says the actress.

On asking if she misses doing films, "I don't miss doing films anymore," she responds.

Shabnaz and Salman Shah were featured in "Anjuman", "Asha Bhalobasha" and "Mayer Odhikar". The duo was much appreciated by the audiences.
