I am afraid of marriage: Bobby

Prominent actress Bobby joined the film industry with the movie "Khoj—The Search". She produced and acted in "Bizli", the very first superhero film of Bangladesh. Additionally, her films include "Nolok", "Hero: The Superstar", and "Dehorokkhi". She is currently shooting for a television commercial. In a candid chat with The Daily Star, she talked about her upcoming ventures, and more.

We haven't seen you in any other film since "Nolok". Are you planning to join any new film?

Everything hasn't gone back to normal yet, and people are still trying to recover from the deadly effects of Covid-19. Now, the vaccination process has given us a ray of hope, and many have already resumed shooting. I have also started shooting for an advertisement, and soon plan to work on the web film by Rashid Palash, titled "Moyurpankhi". I want to work on big-budget films, once things get back on track.

Can you tell us something about the advertisement?

I am shooting for a beauty soap advertisement produced by Rehman Khalil at Birulia, Dhaka. This venture completely focuses on glamour, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The advertisement has a great storyline, and hopefully, everyone will enjoy it.

There are rumours regarding your romantic involvement with a producer. Do you want to share anything about it?

 I have also heard about these rumours, and truth be told, I have no particular romantic involvement with the said person. He is only the producer of one of my films. We are only involved with one another in professional matters.

Are you romantically involved with anyone, or planning to marry soon?

I am not romantically involved with anyone, but I do hope to find love soon. Marriage is a big and complicated issue for me and it is very difficult to find the right person to marry. So, for many complications, I am afraid of marriage.
