First look of Chris Hemsworth in ‘Extraction 2’ revealed

"Extraction 2" has been given a proper first look in a new official picture of Chris Hemsworth in the Netflix sequel.

Just a few days after cameras started rolling on the action flick, a picture of the star's character Tyler Rake holding onto the side of a train in a snowy setting has been released. Filming for the  sequel kicked off in Prague. It comes after the first movie's ending left fans on a huge cliffhanger as Rake appeared to have been left for dead – though it was hinted that he was actually still alive.

Earlier this year, a teaser confirmed that Rake was indeed alive, as he opened his eyes underwater. The clip then ended with the hashtag #RakeLives.

Joe Russo is back on scripting duties, and Sam Hargrave is also returning as director for the sequel. 

The first film, released in 2020, shows the chronicles of an extraction mission by the main character, played by Chris Hemsworth, set in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. However, the movie was not actually shot in Dhaka, save a few drone shots over the Buriganga. Instead, the production team was crafty in recreating the streets of Dhaka in Ahmedabad of India. 
 

The release date of "Extraction 2" has not been announced yet.
