Chris Hemsworth's latest 'Thor' movie may be his last Marvel outing

Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth portrayed the lovable God of Thunder 'Thor' for over 11 years in eight films. However, the actor feels it's about time he leaves the Marvel Cinematic Universe for good.

During an interview with Wired, the actor was asked what will be his last Marvel movie.  In his reply, he hinted that "Thor: Love and Thunder" might be his last movie.

"Well the last I shot was Thor: Love and Thunder and it might be my last Marvel movie, I don't know. It was a wild and fun and wacky experience, as all Taika Waititi movies are," said Hemsworth to the international platform.

Chris Hemsworth has enjoyed playing the character for over 11 years. He had a lot of fun filming the MCU movie.

The actor recalled that the film's director Taika Waititi called him a "wacky, wild, a romantic comedy set in space."

Hemsworth debuted in the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his superhit movie "Thor" in 2011.

The actor then went on to act in the movies  "The Avengers" (2012), "Thor: The Dark World" (2013), "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015), the end-credits scene of "Doctor Strange" (2016), "Thor: Ragnarok" (2017), "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018), and "Avengers: Endgame" (2019).

Chris Hemsworth's recent film "Spiderhead" was released on Netflix on Friday. The actor is also currently awaiting the release of his movie "Extraction 2" and the sequel of "Mad Max: Fury Road."
