Dibbo and Shammo, sons of noted thespian Brindabon Das and celebrated actress Shahnaz Khushi, have stepped into the showbiz industry as actors.
Dibbo has been cast in Shyam Benegal's upcoming production, "Bangabandhu", and has already finished shooting in India for his part in the project. He will play a young Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
"Being a part of this production is an achievement in itself, and I feel very proud to have this opportunity," shares Dibbo. "I am glad that I will be a part of our history by playing the iconic orator Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman."
Shammo, on the other hand, is set to play Bangabandhu in the film "Tungiparar Dushahoshi Khoka". The shooting for the film, directed by Mushfikur Rahman Guljar, will begin from October 6 in Tungipara. After shooting for five days there, the rest of the government-funded project will be shot at the BFDC.
"I am going to play perhaps the most important leader in the history of Bangladesh. I am preparing in full swing as I want to leave no stone unturned from my side,' shares Shammo, who will play a young Bangabandhu in his college years, in "Tungiparar Dushahoshi Khoka".
Proud parents Brindabon Das and Shahnaz Khushi also share their joy in this regard. "I am happy that both my children have managed to make it to the silver screen at such a young age," shares Shahnaz Khushi. "I wish my children grow to be not just great actors, but also amazing human beings."
"Both my children are playing Bangabandhu, and it fills my heart with joy and pride," shares their father Brindabon Das. "I hope my sons grow to be humble and learn to respect our culture."
