80's actor Subrata to portray a judge in "Bangabandhu"

Popular actor of the 80s, Subrata will be playing the role of a judge in the Shyam Benegal directorial film "Bangabandhu".

The actor will begin shooting for his part in the first week of December.

The news was confirmed to The Daily Star by the actor himself.

"I am extremely honoured to get the opportunity of being a part of history," said the actor.

He also informed that he gave auditions for the role in the beginning of November.

"My daughter, Dighi, will portray an important character in the film, and sharing the screen in the same film with her is also overwhelming."

Subrata has been busy with films and a few television projects at the moment.

The actor has recently completed working in the film "Golui", where he will be seen as Shakib Khan's father.
