Meghdol drops new track ‘Golaper Naam’

Meghdol has released a new track titled "Golaper Naam". The music video for the song premiered on the band's official YouTube channel at 8pm on Friday (April 18).

This marks the seventh track from their third album "Aluminium Er Dana". Written and composed by Shibu Kumer Shill, the music video has been directed by band member Shourov Sarker, who previously directed the video for "Maya Cycle".

Speaking to Prothom Alo about the song, guitarist Rasheed Sharif Shoaib said, "It's a love song. We've lived with it for a long time—we began working on it back in 2017. So, this song carries many memories for us."

According to Shoaib, the album "Aluminium Er Dana" will comprise a total of 10 songs, with the remaining three scheduled for release later this year.
