Shrimp fry worth Tk 1.6cr seized

Coastguards seized around 32 lakh shrimp fry worth about Tk 1.6cr near Bhuiar Char area of Tentulia River under Lalmohan upazila.

Md Khalid, Operation Officer of Coast Guards South Zone, said, being tipped off, a team led by Lieutenant Rauf conducted a drive on the river at around 4:00 am and found 62 drums full of shrimp fry in two fishing trawlers. No one was arrested in this connection.
