Medical students blocking Shahbagh get baton-charged by police

Police have baton-charged medical students who were blocking Dhaka's Shahbagh intersection with their four-point demand including not taking prof tests amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Police went for action at around 1:25pm to clear the road, reports our photo-journalist from the spot.
The students of private and public medical colleges took position at Shahbagh intersection and blocked it at around 11:30am with their four-point demands.

Their other demands are -- to take measures to complete the course by resolving session jams; not to take fees from private students for more than 60 months and to bear the medical expenses of students if any student catches the virus after sitting for exams in line with the authority's decision.
