112 expats sent back from Abu Dhabi can fly back without airfare
Air Arabia authorities have given an opportunity to 112 Bangladeshi expatriates, who were sent back from Abu Dhabi airport earlier, to fly back to the United Arab Emirates without paying any airfare.
The Expatriates' Welfare Ministry said this in a press release today.
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi in a letter to Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) informed that it will carry the 44 Bangladeshi expatriates who left on their flight on August 14 but were sent back due to visa complexities, says the release.
Besides, the airlines will also operate a flight for the 68 expatriates who left for UAE in a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, but were sent back around the same time.

The Biman passengers will be flown the country free of cost as a goodwill gesture to Bangladesh, the release adds.
The passengers will, however, have to pay the tax for the tickets.
Expatriates' Welfare Minister Imran Ahmad today issued letters of appreciation to Air Arabia authority and CAAB chairman in this regard, it adds.
