HC for finding Padma bridge graft falsifiers
The High Court today issued a rule asking the government to explain in two weeks why it should not be directed to form an inquiry commission to identify the people who created false stories about corruption into Padma bridge construction.
In the rule, the court asked the authorities concerned of the government to show cause why it should not be ordered to bring the real culprits behind the creation of such false stories to trial.

The HC also directed the cabinet secretary to submit a report if any step is taken in line with the rule in 30 days.
The HC bench of Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and Justice Mohammad Ullah came up with the rule and order in a suo moto (on its own) move following the reports published in Daily Inqilab and some other newspapers.
