Will be able to bring Covid-19 vaccine by the end of January: health minister

Health Minister Zahid Maleque today said they will be able to bring coronavirus vaccine by the end of the nest January.

"Hopefully we will be able to bring the vaccine by the end of next January. Even if it is late for some reason, I will definitely be able to bring the vaccine in mid-February. We have all kinds of preparations in this regard," the minister said.

He was addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural session of outdoor department of Col Maleq Medical College Hospital in Manikganj this noon, reports our Manikganj correspondent.

"The efforts of the health department of Bangladesh in dealing with coronavirus have been appreciated all over the world. Corona (Covid-19) has been brought under control under the leadership of the prime minister," the minister said.
