Ongoing restrictions to continue on April 12, 13: Quader
The ongoing seven-day restrictions on movement, which is supposed to end today, will continue until the strict, all-out lockdown begins on April 14.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said this today at a regular media briefing from his residence.
The announcement came from the minister when many were confused as to what would happen on April 12 and 13, with no directive about the two days.

Urging all to stay home unless emergencies during all-out lockdown, the minister said government will issue a circular with directives to follow in this regard.
He urged all to be patient during this crisis and trust Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to keep the wheels of livelihood moving as well as securing life.
Meanwhile, Quader joined another virtual programme where Tk 3 crore was paid to 242 employees of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation as gratuity.
The minister then said the premier has taken various steps to add more than a thousand buses and trucks in the BRTC fleet.
