Three Bangladeshis who returned from India through Benapole land port 14 days ago have tested positive for Covid-19.

They are among the 22 in Jashore district who tested positive for coronavirus last night, our Benapole correspondent reports.

The India returnees who ended their 14-day institutional quarantine in different hotels yesterday were admitted to the Corona unit of Jashore Medical College Hospital, said Rehnewaz Rony, medical officer of Civil Surgeon's Office in the district.

Meanwhile, a local coronavirus patient died while undergoing treatment at Jashore Medical College Hospital last night, he said.
