RMG worker allegedly raped

A teenage garment worker was allegedly raped by her coworker in Dakkhin Khan area in Dhaka yesterday, police said.

The accused, Mehedi Hasan, was detained after the victim filed a case with Dakkhin Khan Police Station.

According to the case, the girl was raped at 7:30am before others reached the factory.

She was sent to DMCH  for forensic test, police said.
