OIC chief leaves Dhaka after 2-day visit

OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani left Dhaka yesterday after concluding his two-day visit to Bangladesh.

During his visit, he discussed with the Bangladeshi leadership wide ranging issues including conflict situation, and challenges such as radicalism, terrorism and violent extremism facing the Muslim world, says a foreign ministry press release. They stressed debunking false narratives of the radicals and terrorists.

Madani met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Thursday.
