Sultan Bhuiyan no more

Sultan Uddin Bhuiyan, former lawmaker of Narayan-ganj-1 constituency and son of late Gul Baksh Bhuiyan, passed away on Saturday morning.

He was 69, says a press release.

Bhuiyan was former president of Narayanganj Club, president of Yarn Merchant Association, and president of Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He left behind his wife, a son, two daughters and two grandchildren.

Sultan's first namaz-e-janaza was held at his residence in Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

He was later buried at his family graveyard in Rupganj, Narayanganj.

His relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
