Shahidul Alam made International Crimes Tribunal registrar

Shahidul Alam Jhinuk, the judge of Dhaka Special Court-3, was appointed yesterday as the registrar of the International Crimes Tribunal.

In consultation with the Supreme Court, a government order was issued in this regard, Law Secretary ASSM Zahirul Haque Dulal told The Daily Star last night.

Mustafizur Rahman, a joint secretary of the law ministry, had been ICT registrar since August last year, when the previous registrar, AKM Nasiruddin Mahmud, was transferred to Chittagong as district and session judge.
