Qulkhwani of Samad tomorrow

The qulkhwani of Mirza Abdus Samad will be held at his Gulshan residence in the capital after Maghrib prayers tomorrow.
Samad, the youngest son of Khan Bahadur Abdus Sattar, died from old-age complications early Thursday, says a press release.
He left behind his only daughter Lita Samad.
Born in Jalpaiguri of West Bengal in 1927, Samad was influenced by the anti-British movement in the 1940s when he was a student.
Later, he became the general secretary of the then East Pakistan Provincial Communist Party.
He had been married to writer Laila Samad.
