Man arrested with firearm

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-7) arrested a man with a gun and two cartridges in Double Mooring area of Chittagong city on Saturday.

The arrestee Md Farid, 35, of Patiya upazila in Chittagong is accused in two cases including robbery, said Senior Assistant Director of Rab-7 Sohel Mahmud.

On information, Rab-7 members conducted a drive in the area and arrested Farid with the firearm. A case was filed.
