Doctors form anti-militancy human chain in Dhaka

Doctors at different hospitals including Dhaka Medical College and Hospital formed an anti-militancy human chain in front of their hospitals today.   

Teachers, employees and nurses of the DMCH, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and Birdem hospitals also attended the programme started at the noon.

While attending the human chain, speakers demanded the government to strengthen awareness campaign against militancy across the country so that the militants cannot use the country’s soil for their own interest.

The one-and-a-half-hour demonstration programme was organised by the doctors’ association of DMCH in front of the hospital gate.

Meanwhile, the doctors of BSMMU and Birdem also formed a human chain in front of the BSMMU gate.
