Pay through bKash
BKASH Limited, a leading mobile financial service provider in the country, has launched a campaign offering 20 per cent cash back to its customers if they make payment through bKash while purchasing goods from Deshi Dosh outlets. The campaign has been launched to celebrate the Bangla New Year 1421 and will run till 13 May, 2014.

Rang's Boishakh attires

Easter egg stuffing party
The biggest Easter egg hunt is set to take over the capital at the Westin Dhaka.
The hotel is proud to announce that a grand Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Friday, 18 April, 2014 in its Grand Ballroom. This fun-filled event will provide as much joy and laughs for the adults as it will for the children and visitors who will witness this truly magical fest.

Nitya Upahar's Boishakh exhibition
To welcome the New Year, Nitya Upahar has organised a clothing and photography exhibition. The event, which is taking place at Gallery Nitya Upahar (4th floor, Aziz Cooperative Super Market, Shahbagh), started on 11 April and will run till 10 May, 2014. The exhibition was inaugurated by film director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.
The exhibition will display saris and tee shirts for the summer season. The tees feature photographs taken by 14 amateurs and professionals, along with designs done by young designers.
A five star New Year's treat
Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka is celebrating Bengali New Year 1421 from 12 April to 14 April with Bangladeshi Traditional Mela at its lobby, which is ornamented with a number of colourful stalls offering Bangladeshi handicrafts, clothes, souvenirs and snacks.
The biggest attraction for this year is a mammoth 200 kilogram grouper fish from the deep sea of Bay of Bengal. The seven feet long fish has been put on display for all the guests.
Like every year, the hotel's most popular restaurant, Café Bazar, is offering an array of traditional Boishakhi mouth-watering food from different cuisines of Bangladesh, in the Bengali Food Festival that is taking place from 12 April to 14 April.
There will also be the all-time favourite Bengali style 'ilish bhaja' and 'shutki', along with a wide plethora of 'bhorta' and chutney for your cravings.
The salad bar will offer mixed vegetable sticks, cucumber and yoghurt salad, tomato and spring onion salad, eggplant salad, mixed Bengali salad, spicy pumpkin salad, etc.
