Captain of the Ship

The television producers were actually the “Captain of the Ship” as their works said so. A producer of television could easily reach the leading as well as the general people of the country. Those who had become the producers of television had no lack of creativity.
One of the pioneers of television producers is now famous around the country by his name. Later another singer had become the television producer. He was Syed Abdul Hadi. Initially as a producer Zaman Ali Khan had done several programs. Aside of being the husband of famous actress Ajmeri Zaman Reshma he was also known as a prominent cultural minded person.
Another cultural minded person was Monirul Alam. He was also related to the cinema world. But after joining the television he totally became a television figure. He presented the audience making dance-drama of Rabindranath in the tiny studio of DIT. Not only as a program producer but also as an administrator he is still remembered by the staffs.
The floor manager indicates the artist to start his performance when the camera turns on in live program. Once in a live program hand of a floor manager has been focused at time of turning on the camera due to which the audiences could see a hand of a man at the beginning of the program.
For this issue the program administrator Monirul Alam could sue the producer. He could cut his salary. But instead of doing that he gave the producer a note – whoever performed in front of television camera he or she must be given payment. Yesterday in your program a hand of a man had been seen. But do you want to know for which reason the hand has been used and how much money he has been given?

Nothing can be more insulting thing than this for a producer. Therefore, the producer has to be cautious so that this kind of incident will never be happened.
Some words used to be written in the legal papers of television regarding the payment of the artist. It had been decided by the authority that the artists are the respected people of the society. The check they used to get was actually called honorary instead of payment which means this short amount of money has been given to him showing him the respect.
There is another producer named Atiqul Haque Chowdhury. He was a famous producer of radio. He joined the television from radio. He is still presenting the audiences so many dramas as he used to do while doing job at Bangladesh Television.
Atiqul Haque Chowdhury was the director of the first ever package drama in television which was produced by Arefin Badol. Apart from being a producer Atiqul Haque Chowdhury has written several dramas. The biggest characteristic of Atiqul Haque Chowdhury was he has worked with many newcomer directors and artists. Many famous directors' and artists' first drama works were with Atiqul Haque Chowdhury. To search out these new artists Atiqul Islam Chowdhury observed the people of the society besides recruiting from the applications those had been dropped. That is why various persons from various stages have been seen in his most of the dramas. Famous actress of this age Afroza Banu acted in the program for newcomer artists “Nobokollol”. From there Atiqul Haque Chowdhury took her to act in the lead role of the drama “Mora Manusher Pathshala”. The progress of Afoza Banu has been started since then and on later she got the popularity acting the role of “Shimu” in the drama “Shoakal-Shondha”. It has to be mentioned that Piyush Bandhapaddhay and Afroza Banu were in the main two roles in the drama “Shokal-Shondha”. The initiation of selling view cards has been started since then after making view cards of these two artists.
Atiqul Haque Chowdhury was one of the few producers of television who has produced various dramas in his entire television life. There were versatilities in those dramas which have blown the audiences minds away. Atiqul Haque Chowdhury showed that drama doesn't only mean the entertainment, drama doesn't mean to sit before the television screen, drama expresses the day to day life, and it has some potentialities to speak for the society.
