Yoda bags BASIS National ICT Award

Yoda was declared as the champion, at the 2019 BASIS National ICT Award during the award ceremony, at a hotel in Dhaka. In this year's BASIS ICT Award, 69 participants were awarded in 35 categories. However, the initial round of contestants had submitted over 1,100 projects! The Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud was present as the Chief Guest of the event. He said that he was proud to know that the team traveling to Vietnam this year was the largest in the history of Bangladesh. This is the third time that the BASIS National ICT Award ceremony was organised.

Yoda’s CEO Mohammed Salman was present to receive the award, along with other distinguished team members: Head of Operations Kazi Mohiuddin Showron, CTO Rifat Bin Reza, and CPO Tahmid Khan Nafee. The CEO stated, Yoda’s aim is to modernise the face of education in Bangladesh and to make it more accessible to the population. The award will contribute a great deal to Yoda’s pre-existing efforts and the company will work tooth and nail to introduce new technologies to students to make learning simpler.
