Sophos hosts seminar on IT security
Malware protection will become more challenging in Bangladesh along with South Asian countries in the upcoming year as most of the organisations have weak network firewall, Sophos, a UK-based security firm projected in a seminar in Dhaka. The survey report by Sophos also suggested that almost all files (89 percent) contain malware which remained unscreened in the existing system.
Sophos shared these findings in a seminar with top technology officials hosted by local partner Smart Data Technology. Sophos Bangladesh Head Abul Hasnat Mohsin unveiled the report while CEO of Smart Data Fazlur Rahman briefed about the security trends of the region.
